St. John of Kronstadt Orthodox Christian School is a unique one-room schoolhouse that provides college-preparatory academics within the context of Orthodox Christianity. At St. John's, spiritual learning and growth is the most important aspect of education, and is fostered in many ways. First, the students pray at the beginning and end of the school day. Second, the students themselves lead Sixth Hour prayers before lunch. The students also attend Matins twice a week at Holy Cross Antiochian Orthodox Church, in addition to any mid-week Liturgies celebrated during school hours.

College-preparatory academics include instruction in reading, mathematics, and writing, as well as science, music, art, Greek, and history. In a one-room schoolhouse, students are grouped by ability rather than grade, allowing them to excel beyond their technical "grade level." The small class size of St. John's allows individual attention to the strengths and needs of each student. For more information, please contact us.

Troparion to St. John (Fourth Tone)
O wonderworker living in Christ forever; with love have mercy on them that are in danger; hear they children who call upon thee with faith; be thou compassionate unto them that hope for aid from thee, O Father John of Kronstadt, our beloved shepherd.

Kontakian to St. John (Fourth Tone)
O thou who from infancy wast chosen by God, and in childhood didst miraculously receive from Him the gift of learning, and wast gloriously called to the priesthood in a vision during sleep: Thou didst prove to be a wondrous shepherd of the Church of Christ, O Father John, namesake of grace. Pray to Christ our God that we all be with thee in the Kingdom of the Heavens.
